June 3, 2015: A double murder convict was executed at the Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore.
Javed alias Jeeda had killed two persons, Qasim and Siddiqui, in Cantt Kechhri area of Lahore on 19 September 1987.
Meanwhile, death warrants of three condemned prisoners of Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi were suspended. All the arrangements were made for hanging convicted prisoners Javed Sultan, Muhammad Rafiq and Ikram Hussain, but the court issued orders to suspend the death warrants after the parties settle the matter.
Since the de facto ban on capital punishment ended on 17 December 2014, at least 147 people, including twenty-six convicted terrorists, have been executed across the country.

Pakistan: Double murder convict hanged in Sargodha
May 30, 2015: a double murder convict was sent to the gallows in the District Jail of Sargodha.
Murad Ali, a resident of Mandi Bahauddin, was awarded death sentence by the District and Sessions court for killing a husband wife duo over an old enmity some 17 years ago.
Since the de facto ban on capital punishment ended on 17 December 2014, at least 141 people, including twenty-six convicted terrorists, have been executed across the country.
